Ohana House

Perfect for our family of 5. Excellent location, enjoyed the outdoor shower. We went to the beach multiple times a day. We hiked and explored the coast. The use of the boogie boards, chairs and wagon simplified our packing. Kitchen had basics but needed to purchase items to make meals. Plenty of hot water, laundry worked efficiently. The house was easy to keep clean with kids constantly covered in sand. We can’t wait to return.

The folks at Na Pali Properties do a great job of making you feel right at home-the rental was first class in all categories!!

We have stayed in Hanalei many times, but this was our first time at Ohana House. We absolutely loved everything about the property. The house is spacious and beautiful. I think it has the most well stocked kitchen of any place we have ever stayed. The view of the mountains from the living room is stunning. We had a little more rain than usual during our visit but with view from the living room we had great views of the waterfalls! The backyard is nicely landscaped, and the lanai has great outdoor seating. The staff at Na Pali Properties was great to work with both prior to and during our visit. Overall, just a great experience.

This is our fourth time staying in a Na Poli property. We love the locations and management team is always very resposive. Looking forward to our next trip!

Love HANALEI. Love the weather/ the beaches/ the Local residents. Surfing/ Shopping, visiting local friends. It’s a family place to enjoy your vacation time.

We stay in Hanalei for a week. The Ohana house is magical! The perfect house in the perfect location. A 2 minute walk to the beach or to town. Can’t wait to go back!!

We had the most wonderful family visit to Hanalei and cannot wait to return. Na Pali properties was wonderful to work with (thanks Hali!) and the house was perfect for us. First of all - the view of the mountains and a waterfall from the living room and backyard takes your breath away. The location could not have been better - a super easy short walk either to town or to the beach. One of the most beautiful beaches in the world I might add. The house was stocked with everything we could have wanted, including a wagon, beach chairs, boogie boards, umbrellas and towels. Our toddler loved riding in the wagon every day and then rinsing off the sand in the outdoor shower (one of our favorite things too!). My husband and I loved reading in the backyard or playing one of the games the house had while our daughter napped every afternoon. One thing I will note for future families with small children is that we didn't feel comfortable having her sleep in the front room with just a latch on the door or in the loft upstairs so we set up her pack n play in the second bathroom. It worked out fine because it was nice and dim in there. Just something to be aware of if you have small children. Otherwise there is plenty of room out in the main living area too. Another thing we loved about the house was how it was tucked away and very private with all the hedges while still being so close to it all. Bottom line, this family home was so comfortable and wonderful in every way. We would go back in a heartbeat and hope to!

About 2 blocks from the beach in one direction and 2 blocks from dining in the other. The perfect location. Gorgeous garden! The owner provided a wagon, beach chairs, cooler, and towels. Perfect!!

the backyard was amazing with plants The house does no have air condtion so it did get alittle warm in the sunroom to sleep in. The curtains are very light fabric so the sun did come in very early But overall the place had charm

We loved our time at the Ohana House. It was perfect for my husband, myself and our two teenage sons. Lots of room to spread out and the backyard was gorgeous tropical oasis.
We took advantage of the beach chairs, towels, wagon and cooler and had a lovely time at the beach. The location is ideal - a 4 minute walk to the beach and a 4 minute walk the other direction to town.

Ohana was everything we hoped for. A beautiful, serene home perfectly equipped for a family visit to Kauai. We could not fault it. Na Pali were perfect hosts in every way and the special touches in the home made our stay one to remember. The gardens and view are wonderful and the layout perfect for together and alone time for families. Location is perfect with a short stroll to town or beach. Mahalo!

We are a family of 5 (with two young adult and one teenage child) and this place worked really well for us. Kitchen was well enough stocked and we ate most of our meals there, getting fresh fish from the local market. It's a 3 minute walk both to the beach and into Hanalei. Lovely view of the mountains too. Would rent it again.

Our family is from Kona,Hawaii. My husband and I planned a fun vacation and invited our family to spend 2 weeks together In HANALEI the most beautiful “ slice of heaven” we think there is in Hawaii. Our family and the grandkids enjoyed the beach the most. Most gorgeous beach in the world with so many fun activities to do. The weather was beautiful- the house is very comfortable and turnkey. Living in Hawaii this vacation for our family is unique for us to hop over to HANALEI abundance have many fun adventures for all ages.

Personal attention from on Hali at Napali property was appreciated. The house is as clean nicely appointed and a short walk all to shopping restaurants and the beach. Couldn’t ask for more.

Pleasant surprise with a beautiful yard. The yard boasts a Palmello tree , Hawaiian grapefruit - and an Avocado tree which was producing large delicious avocados. We had a lovely time at the Ohana House.

Great cottage with a beautiful yard! This property is close to everything. Restaurants, shopping and Hanalei Bay! Indoor and outdoor living at its finest. We would stay there again!

A perfect location, very close to the beach and easy walk to the shops. Peaceful lush yard with chickens pecking about. Inside is simple but very adequate--classic beach bungalow feel.

The house is a short walk to town and close to the beaches at Hanalei Bay. The house feels spacious; the kitchen has everything you need including a grill & great beach supplies. There is some road noise and the ubiquitous rooster crowing but you get used to it. The house is a little dated and could use a deep cleaning but it is neat and decently maintained. 3d bedroom is a loft and would be fairly warm. The kitchen faucet needs an adjustment and the steps to the laundry area should be painted as it's a little tricky to distinguish the steps when light is low. The 2d bedroom is behind the laundry room and separate from the 2d bathroom which is slightly inconvenient. The grounds are lovely and create a sense of privacy, peace and beauty. We would stay again!

Location is awesome although on a pretty busy side street. Very old home which is fine but not updated. Needs new countertops and certainly the fan in the wall in the upstairs bedroom. There is no AC which is fine but there were a couple rough days with the heat. Outdoor shower is fantastic however the two inside need alot of attention. I almost went to ACE and replaced the shower heads as they were not very useable.

I did replace a few lights and cleaned a bit. The cleaning crew must not be able to reach the top of the lights and or fans as they were all quite dirty and or in need of repair

One last interesting fact is the neighbor woman across the street feeds the birds in the properties front yard. I saw her basically every other day throwing seed over the bushes. Not really sure why she was doing that but it sure gets those Rosters going first thing in the morning

All said and done the property was not bad. I might consider going there again as the location was great but I would probably ask to see if the place had been updated in any way especially the bathrooms

We LOVED the Ohana House! The pictures of the property are great and seeing it in person is even better. Morning coffee looking at the waterfalls on the mountain. Mature and fruiting avocado and citrus trees. Birds (both tropical and chickens) are everywhere. A short walk to the beach and plenty of gear to take for a fun day. An even shorter walk to town. Plenty of room plus everything we needed to entertain family staying elsewhere on the island. Basically, perfect for us. We can't wait to get back and we'll definitely stay at the Ohana House again!!

The house provided easy access to the town and the beach and has a lovely backyard. You just have to be okay with the chickens roaming around on occassion.

We had a wonderful stay in the Ohana house, it’s perfectly located between the beach and the village, the house had everything we needed and the bonus was 2 Avocado trees in the yard and we ate plenty of avacado's,, the view from the back yard was beautiful and every morning we had breakfast outside with a few of the neighbourhood roosters. It was just a 2 minute walk to the little village and on the rainy days we would just walk in and pick up some lunch and do a little shopping, we would definitely recommend this house

It was a lovely place to stay with a lovely yard. The only hard part was acclimating to the humidity and no a/c but after a few days it gets easier.
