Ray grew up in California’s Southwest Los Angeles area.  As soon as Ray received his drivers license at 16, he drove to the beach.  Ray moved to Kauai in March of 2000.   It was his dream to move to the Hanalei area after first visiting here the summer of 1972.   He graduated from California State University at Sonoma with a degree in Economics and spent over 20 years as a computer programmer and business systems software consultant.

Ray’s interest in Real Estate started in 1968 as college elective classes.  He has held a Hawaii Real Estate Sales license since January 2001.  Since then has bought and sold North Shore properties as investments.  Ray and his wife, Susan , are in the process of building a new home in Princeville on a lot they purchased in 2001.  They want to complete the project by May of 2005.  This will allow them to rent their Hanalei Beach House and still enjoy all the amenities living on Kauai’s North Shore has to offer.  Ray enjoys sailing his Hawaiian sailing (Holopuni) canoe, OC1 canoe racing, hiking, bicycling, and entertaining friends and visitors.
